1. Start the Equipment
Electric Leaf Suction Machine: Plug the power cord into a suitable power socket. After ensuring a stable connection, press the start button. Some electric leaf suction machines may have different power levels. You can select an appropriate level to start according to the amount of leaf accumulation and the difficulty of cleaning. Generally, start with a low level first. If the suction is insufficient, gradually increase it.
Fuel-Powered Leaf Suction Machine: First, turn on the fuel switch and then start it according to the engine startup operation procedures. Usually, it is necessary to pull the starting rope or operate the start button. During the startup process, pay attention to the sound of the engine to ensure its normal operation. After starting, let the engine warm up for a few minutes to make the equipment reach the optimal working state.
2. Operation Techniques
Leaf Suction Posture: The operator holds the handle of the leaf suction machine and keeps the body balanced and stable. Place the suction inlet close to the pile of leaves. Generally, an angle of 30° - 45° with the ground is appropriate, which can better suck up the leaves. When moving the leaf suction machine, push or pull it slowly and steadily to avoid missing leaves or losing control of the equipment due to rapid movement.
Cleaning Sequence: For a large area with a pile of leaves, a zoning cleaning method can be adopted. Start from a corner or an edge and gradually progress in a certain direction and order to ensure that all the leaves in the entire area can be cleaned. During the cleaning process, if you encounter a place with a thick pile of leaves, you can first break up the upper layer of leaves and then use the leaf suction machine to suck them up, which can improve the leaf suction efficiency.
Coping with Different Terrains: Operating on a flat ground is relatively simple. However, if you encounter a slope or an uneven ground, the operator needs to be extremely careful. On a slope, operate in the direction of the slope to avoid the equipment from tipping over. For a pitted or raised ground, you can appropriately adjust the height and angle of the suction inlet to adapt to the terrain changes and ensure that leaves can be effectively sucked up.
