1. Equipment Inspection
Appearance Inspection: Firstly, check the appearance of the leaf suction machine. Examine whether there is any obvious damage, deformation or cracks in the machine body. Pay special attention to the integrity of the housings of parts such as the collection bag (or collection bin), suction inlet, and air outlet. Ensure that there is no breakage so as not to affect the normal use and suction effect of the equipment.
Power Source Inspection: If it is an electric leaf suction machine, check whether the power cord is intact without any damage, aging or exposed wires. At the same time, confirm that the power plug is normal and that the grounding protection is good for preventing electric shock accidents. For a fuel-powered leaf suction machine, check whether there is sufficient fuel in the fuel tank and whether the fuel pipeline is tightly connected and without leakage, ensuring that the engine can start and run normally.
Suction Component Inspection: Check whether the suction inlet is blocked by debris. If there are leaves, branches or other foreign objects, they need to be cleared first to ensure that the suction is not affected. Check whether the vacuum pipe has any cracks, deformation or blockage. If any problems are found, they should be repaired or cleared promptly. Check whether the collection bag (or collection bin) is firmly installed. If it is damaged or full, it needs to be replaced or cleared on time. Otherwise, the suction power of the leaf suction machine will be reduced and leaves may spill out.
2. Site Cleaning
Before using the leaf suction machine, firstly tidy up the site where leaves need to be cleaned. Remove larger branches, stones and other obstacles that may damage the equipment or affect the leaf suction effect. This can not only protect the leaf suction machine but also improve the cleaning efficiency, enabling the leaf suction machine to suck leaves more smoothly.
3. Protective Equipment Preparation
Although the leaf suction machine is relatively safe, it is still recommended that the operator wears some protective equipment. For example, wearing gloves can prevent the hands from being scratched by branches or pinched by certain parts of the equipment during operation. Wearing safety goggles can prevent leaf debris or dust from flying into the eyes and protect the eyes from injury.
