(A) Cleaning Work

Body Cleaning

When cleaning the body of a floor sweeper, first prepare a clean and soft damp cloth. The dampness of the cloth should be moderate so that no water droplets drip. Then, gently wipe along the surface of the body to gradually remove the dust attached to it. For some stubborn stains, such as accidentally soiled marks or dirt marks accumulated over a long time, a small amount of special cleaner can be used cautiously. When using the cleaner, apply it to the damp cloth first and then wipe the stained area. And always pay attention that the cleaner must not enter the interior of the machine through gaps or holes, because this may damage the precise electronic components and mechanical structures inside the machine, affecting the normal operation and service life of the floor sweeper.

Brush Cleaning

The brush is a key component of the floor sweeper's cleaning function. After use, it often gets a large amount of hair, fibers and other small debris wrapped around it. For the hair wrapped around the brush, a sharp pair of scissors can be used to carefully cut it off. During the operation, the scissors should be placed as close to the surface of the brush as possible to avoid cutting the bristles of the brush. After cutting off most of the hair, use another clean brush to carefully brush off the remaining fibers and debris. This cleaning method can effectively restore the cleaning ability of the brush and ensure that it can perform better in the next use.

Dustbin Cleaning

First, take out the dustbin from the machine and pour all the dust and garbage in it into the trash can. Since a large amount of dirt accumulates in the dustbin during use, it is not enough to just empty the garbage. It also needs to be rinsed with clean water. When rinsing, a soft-bristled brush can be used to gently scrub the inside and outside of the dustbin, especially the corners and edges, to remove the residual dirt. After rinsing, place the dustbin in a well-ventilated place to air dry. Make sure that the dustbin is completely dry before putting it back into the floor sweeper. Otherwise, a damp dustbin may breed bacteria and produce an odor, and may also hurt the internal environment of the machine.

(B) Storage Environment

The storage environment of the floor sweeper has a crucial impact on its performance and service life. The floor sweeper should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated indoor space. A dry environment can effectively prevent the machine from rusting because moisture is one of the key factors causing metal rust. Good ventilation can prevent the air around the machine from being too humid or having an odor. At the same time, special attention should be paid to avoiding direct sunlight on the equipment. Long-term exposure to direct sunlight will cause the plastic material of the machine shell to age and fade, affecting its appearance and overall structural strength. In addition, it should be kept away from heat sources such as heating appliances and stoves. The high temperature emitted by heat sources may damage the electronic components and batteries inside the floor sweeper, leading to a decline in performance or even failure. It should also be avoided to be stored in places with corrosive gases, such as chemical laboratories and factory workshops, because corrosive gases may erode the outer shell and internal metal parts of the machine, shortening its service life.
